Artist Statement:
South African Born (1959) Draw exclusively to music (Rock & Roll) which acts as a powerful guiding force in the whole process of creating a work of art.
My art stems from observing inner dimensions complimented by sensory experiences that mirror these in visual vocabulary.
The media I use varies depending on a particular situation. Most favoured are pastels for their immediate contact and ability to manipulate strokes at first touch, these are accomplished with the aid of musical companion.
I also work in acrylics, oils and sculptures in cement, fibregalss and clay....
