Artist Statement for Jenniferandmark Hamilton
|
|
|
The collaborative work between Jennifer and Mark Hamilton initially grew out of a mutual respect and admiration for one another, both as individuals and as artists. Through countless hours of conversations, a great enthusiasm began to emerge. Though the conversations concerning their work began as individual artists, the similarities in style and aesthetics, issues and ideas, led them to begin looking at their work collectively. Differing perspectives or approaches to creating an image, from process to execution, creates an incredible work environment in which both artists are constantly challenging and pushing one another to do their best.
Our collaboration has extended to commercial as well as fine art projects. We combine the same pride and passion in all of our work. A collective list of our past clients or published work is listed in part below:
