Graphic arts, aviation, wood working, building, engineering and design. Keenly interested in History.
I admire Luther, Mozart, Beethoven, Martin Luther King, the founding
Fathers, Wright Brothers, MacArthur and Ayn Rand. Music; classical, and a bit of opera, country, big band, ballads and, Liturgical music. I read for information, for facts and reasons why. Like fiction, non
fiction and how to’s. TV is NCIS, George Lopez, some oldies, Antiques Road Show, self
help, history, comedy, some! Movies, guy stuff, action, soakers, fuzzies. Dance, square &
big band. Sports nut, NO!
But I do like the Grenn Bay Packers!

Biggest Artistic Inspiration
My artistic Inspiration is DaVinchi's engineering ability and insight. The majestic, studied excellence of Ferris, Winslow Homer, N.C. Wyeth, and Remington are great examples to note. Art, design and structural engineering are my core interests from my youngest of days. It is what I have always done. I also admire the late author Ayn Rand, for her literary prowess and powerful insights about creativity.

Why Did You Become An Artist
It is what I have done all my life! |

Your Personal Biography
I do paint Aviation, the history, technology, man and machine. My art can be called a realist impressionist style that draws on technical imagination, color perception, the energy and dynamics of flight.
Yet my work is not limited to aviation subjects alone. I also illustrate critters, landscapes, scenes of needed things and am a photographer.
I relish the challenge illustrating the abstract concept to create visual realities with my favorite art medium, oils on canvas or panel. And I might also do some pen and ink with watercolor at times.
Always an objectivist, my passion for the Great Spiritual Truths so eloquently drafted into the United States Declaration of Independence and it's Constitution are the heart and core of my work, 'Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness' in my art, writing and presentations. It is an honor I have enjoyed that Industry, military and national leaders have been presented with my creations.
I am a published artist, illustrator and photographer. My venue is print media, book, magazine covers, articles, trade journals, house organs, advertising and film, and yes, sign making. I have been recognized with awards and noticed in the press, local and national for my flair and art directing ability.
I have flown with the Air Force Art Program. My works have been in memorials and museums, in Germany and the states. I was a contributing artist for the McGuire Foundation and Air Mobility Command at McGuire Air Force Base, N.J. and am an active member of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
The aircraft I have flown in, as a passenger, crew, observer or student pilot.

For the collector of art, prints and memorabilia, Limited Editions and art reproductions, 'Giclee's' (zeclays) are produced in my studio. Archive inks, museum grade papers and canvas are used in all reproductions.
Each reproduction is hand selected, signed and numbered if limited. Editions can number from 50 to 200 prints for each issue. Some may be remarqued. Open editions are signed and can be remarqued as well.
When an issue is fully subscribed, no more prints are produced, that issue is
closed, thereby guaranteeing the collectors portfolio exclusivity. Some prints may be limited by both numbers and subscription time. Closed editions which have not been produced as 'Canvas Masters' are re-issued as enhanced artists 'Canvas Masters'', mounted or maroflagued and specially framed, produced in a limited edition of no more than 20. Art posters and art production press proofs are also hand selected and signed .
My work in South Carolina is represented by Connie's framing and gallery in Aiken, and by some 12 other galleries world wide. I have a building collection of reproductions and originals exhibited at the Barnwell Airport Terminal building in Barnwell South Carolina, sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association, chapter 1079.
