Artist Statement:
These abstract paintings are
meant to present the illusion
of movement, balance and color
in a moment's perception. The
push and pull of colorful
strokes chart a visible record
of the work's creation as the
process moves toward it's
completion. I often make
adjustments when creating the
movements of color, line and
space until the proportions of
the pictorial structure is
resolved. The structure of
wavy forms with lines breaking
the linkage across the canvas
generates the effects of
movement and intensify the
visual dynamic....
