Artist Statement:
Being a figurative artist, my work over the past 20 years has encompassed a variety of mediums, i.e.: printmaking, mixed media sculptures, small upto mural-sized oil paintings, acrylic/bas-relief paintings, ink or graphite drawings, and constructions with various objects; all the while maintaining a strong focus on a singular theme - Exploration of the "Human Condition".

| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
My interests in art cover many genres. Two of great interest are oil figurative paintings; and found object constructions. Which lead me to the figurative works of: Francesco Clemente; Robert Colescott and Georg Baselitz. For constructions I discovered (Horace Clifford) H.C. Westermann and Joseph Cornell. |
