Artist Statement:
In my work I strive to create an atmosphere of light and shadow in the tradition of the old masters. I believe the essence of a beautiful painting is in the movement of light and the visible texture of the brushstrokes. ...

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
My mother was an oil painter and I started very young with oil paints. I enjoy visiting the world galleries to see the work of the old masters. I have studied with some of the world class painters and strive to do professional work. |

| Your Personal Biography |
I was born in Wales in a coal mining town, which was largely blue collar, though the arts were still very important to that culture. But I have lived in the USA over ten years. I have been painting since I was a child and first sold oil paintings as a young boy.
Other than painting I spend my time playing soccer and watching movies. |
