Artist Statement:
I'm actually an advertising
photographer and as such I
have to make the product come
out at it's best, perform a
clean face-lifting, show the
choco from the best possible
side, only to sell the
product. This is my
profession.
Fine-art photography has once
again become my hobby after
all these years.
The monotonous professional
photography might be OK for
the daily bread but it leaves
a fuzzy and humming brain when
you get home after long hours
of shooting, so shooting for
my own stock does releave and
refresh my horizon.
I primarily shoot on film
(35mm through 8x10") but also
use professional hi-res
high-end digital systems.
Images displayed here are shot
with conventional reversal
film using normal cameras,
lens and tripod.
Images showcased here belong
to my Magical Mystery Torch®
series which are created on
chrome film material using
consecutive/multiple exposures
on the same sheet of film,
sometimes 50 or more exposures
are necessary to create one
single image, all images are
one of a kind, no two images
come out the same, just like a
Polaroid shot or a painting.
