Bad Otis Link
Don't let his name fool you, Otis loves people as much as he loves to create new things.
Born cursed with creativity and a twisted sense of humor, Otis sharpened his skills as an artist in the late 70s through the mid 90s as one of Los Angeles premier and most notorious punk rock artists. Otis began by designing band logos, record covers, posters and merchandise for local punk and sub culture bands. Otis' reputation soon spread, to date, Otis has worked with literally hundreds of bands, musicians and fellow artist' globally. In the early 90s Otis designed and published the True Life Murders Trading cards. This was the first set on the subject matter that was soon copied and imitated by many others. However Otis took the brunt of the heat. Otis' art and projects were viciously attacked in the media by moralist groups and media hungry politicians and were the subject of talk shows and news programs around the planet. Laws were soon passed to restrict and censor Otis' art, it is illegal to posses in some countries. When the censors couldn't pressure Otis to stop, his home was stormed by federal agents, his art and product was confiscated and he was sued and harassed by some of our nations largest corporations, most likely fueled by political pressure. He still didn't stop. Otis is highly entertained by the reactions of our puritan American culture and loves to kick it in the groin with his art, publishing, and film projects. Otis shows his paintings and art on occasion in local gallery's, currently however, Otis has focused his psychotic energy on film making and directing, (winning the spirit and artist of the year awards at silverlake in 06) while always creating for his future exhibits.
