Artist Statement:
The play of light, the
contrast of colors and values
have always exicted and
inspired me to capture them on
canvas.
Whether the mood is bright and
sunsplashed or muted and soft,
values and contrasts dazzle
me.
I can find beauty in any
subject matter from a grand
vista, to a microview, from
the simple portrait to the
more complex figure, each
element is as exciting as the
next.
My only regret is fear that
I wont live long enough to
accomplish all I wish to. I am
a multimedium artist,using
oil, acrylic, graphite and
color pencil. My only dilemna
is which one to use when an
image excites me.
I mostly work commissions,
but in between that work, I
paint what excites and pleases
me the most....
