Artist Statement:
Our Studio produces Fine Art, Murals, Artistic Feature Walls and decorative Fine Finishes for Ornate Plaster.
We developed a paint system (ArchiSpray) to allow us to create in our Studio, unique and beautiful finishes that decorate Ornate Plaster . Gilding, Marble, Fantasy woods, Pearls and fantastic tinted glazes and effects are applied to bring out the delicate features of sculpting found on Ornate Plaster pieces.
Out of this development, I came to creating many paintings of variuos subjects. Australian landscape and Australian Bushranger Ned Kelly and his Gang feature in many of the works. We take digital images and high resolution scans of the originals to further promote marketing opportunities.
I have exhibited my artworks from the age of 19 on the Queensland Gold Coast, in Manly, Sydney and surrounds, Cairns and Port Douglas, Brisbane and to the present time in my Showroom/Gallery which is located in heart of Melbourne, Victoria. I am also online with art portfolios.
This year has been one of change for me. I acquired an online liquor licence and with the help of an excellant tutorial from Freewebs I made up a site. From there my partner and I contacted all our old business contacts ...

| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
Australian Bush Artist - Pro Hart was my inspiration to commercialise my artwork. He was and is still not accepted by academics in Australia but did not detour from his ambition to take his art to the world.
I admired his attititude of never die and loved all the antics he got up to. He was fearless. I was sorry to his life ebbing and very sad for the world when he passed.
His work will live on and I will always remember him as the Bush Artist. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I became an artist even though I didn't and still don't want that as a full time 'occupation'. The amount of money earned, fame gained etc doesn't register with me.
Art seems to follow me and because I'm innovative and creative it just seems a natural outlet to be added to the forces within.
Visual art while interesting was a bit of a chore and only my really good teachers helped me to overcome lassitude. In particular my art teachers @ Talhandaq High School(Malta) and Mosman State High School (Sydney) were instrumental to my development as a person and artist, though I bet they had not a clue. I often wish I could thank them for helping me so much..
Other people including my family who encouraged me to share my work probably had a lot to do with it also.
