just have an affinity to see

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I am many things.. being artistic is just one of the many facets that possess me. As with most people its a way of expressing myself.. my desires.. my loathing... acceptance or whatever else I am feeling at the moment. Sometimes I just want to see something beautiful that excites me.. whether its sexually or emotional.. Being able to have a tangible object of my affection after expressing myself is just a memory or thought that's become alive. Its a beautiful thing. |

| Your Personal Biography |
I'm an american transplant that has been uprooted and replanted in Italy. Here is where I have discovered my deep love for mosaic works. I am self taught (and always learning.
I've always played with mosaics on and off throughout my life... though now I have found a deeper connection with it that seems to have found me at the right time when I needed to find it.
I am incredibly fond of texture so most of my work is direct method. Direct method also gives me more elbow room as I like to call it... as I frequent start.. rip out.. and start again... rip out.. and so on (you get the picture).
