Artist Statement:
Identified in grade school as
a gifted artist, and at the
age of 8 he was futher
encouraged when given a set of
oil paints by his aunt.
Throughout his youth he
continued painting developing
a unique style by combining
the Old Masters with an
Impressionist flair. He feels
it breathes more true
life-like reality into his
paintings.
Born in New York City, Berman
is a graduate of the School Of
Music and Art, and the school
of Art and Design. As well as
Pratt Institute's Art Campus
in Greenwich Village. While
attending Pratt, he was
empolyed at Lord and Taylor as
a display artist and
illustrator. He continued his
commissioned painting works as
a free lance artist.
He moved to California and was
employed by Wolf and Vine,
designers and developers of
elaborate and world traveled
itinerant displays for the
fashion industies, as well as
the Hollywood Studios.

Welcome to Leonard Berman's Portfolio.
Identified in grade school as a gifted artist, and at the age of 8 he was futher encouraged when given a set of oil paints by his aunt.
