| Your Personal Biography |
I am visual artist since the 14 years, but just with 37 years I began to paint with discipline and professionalism.
I prefer to paint screens of great formats, that in general are all-over -- totally filled out by very small drawings -- most abstract, or just free brushstrokes. Views from a distance, many of them seem almost monochrome.
I especially like Mark Tobey and the uruguayan painter Joaquim Torres-Garcia and her 'constructive universalism'. I Make a painting that wants to dialogue with the art of Hispanic America, with the abstract expressionism and with the history of the Brazilian painting, without leaving never of looking for the contemporary art. |
