Biography
My main source of inspiration in making arts is the human spirit. The canvas serves as a platform for dialogue, where I place my reflection and reaction about life, human nature and social morality that's ingrown in us to a discussion. Suppose some works express vivid sorrows caused by estrangement, while others speak with joy at the remaining goodness within the human heart. Earlier on during my youthful years, I was keen to depict the vice within human nature; critical to the deformities the society took shape through social realism in the paintings and drawings I made. Creating works that were deemed as falling out of aesthetics by the conventional standards was meant to challenge taboos and forbidden symbols within our psyche. I paint to evoke my own self-introspection, at the same time, through reflection of the outer world, awaken the silenced conscience in the human heart.
