Artist Statement:
Years ago I painted in oil and
watercolours.Later I switched
to collage.After a long period
in which I did'nt do anything
in art, I began 3 years ago to
make mosaics.Lately I arrived
to my personal style.I feel
that my present work in
mosaics is, in a way, coming
back to painting....

| Your Personal Biography |
I was born in Poland in 1938.In my childhood I survived the Holocaust,and lost all my family.I arrived in Israel in 1949.I was braught up in a kibbutz.After my marriage,me and my husband left the kibbutz and lived for several years in a town.In 1968 me my husband and our two children went to live in a moshav (country settlement),and I live there today with my children and grandchildren.Moshav Lakhish was established near the ancient town Lakhish(that was conquered by Joshua according to the Bible).In the first years in Lakhish I worked as an accountant and later we became farmers and vinegrowers. |
