| Your Personal Biography |
As a Photographer, Web and graphic designer, Kathryn McGeorge has survived the Bay Area employment roller coaster by doing everything from temping to dog walking, but her true calling is and has always been photography.
Kat hails from Philadelphia and discovered a passion for photography as early as six years old. Her first camera was a Kodak Hawkeye Instamatic II, left behind by her passing Grandmother. Once in high school, where she would lose herself for hours in the darkroom, her heart led her to the dream of making photographs for a living. Largely self-taught, she followed through with apprenticeships to various photographers during her college years. These experiences led her to follow her own independent path.
These days, Kathryn is pursuing her passion by making pictures, and leveraging her design experience when she can. Kat’s photography includes landscape, architecture, portraiture, and macro.
In her spare time, Kat enjoys yoga, traveling, dancing, and outdoor activities such as jogging, inline skating, biking and camping.
Kat lives in San Francisco with her boyfriend Chuck and their dog, Abby. |
