Artist Statement:
After a 30-year publishing career in New York, Boston, and Los Angele, I rediscovered painting. Not coincidentally, I returned to painting after moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico, a setting that has inspired many of my favorite artists -- artists like John Marin, John Sloan, Richard Diebenkorn, all of whom worked in New Mexico at one time. I work mostly in watercolor and pastel for I love the transparency of watercolors and the velvety texture of pastels....
