Artist Statement:
Bonnys paintings and sculpture express the interconnectedness of lifes experiences, a soulful presence and an evolution into ones deepening spiritual self. She incorporates color, movement and depth to reveal rich warm imagery including women, horses, and birds in an eternal landscape of mountains, sky, water and foliage in this compelling concept of a seamless organic totality.
The relationships in her earliest works between riders and horses are powerful bold statements filled with movement, expressing great freedom in lifes journey. The vibrancy of her colors and unique style are well recognized. Her canvases now executed in oil have become all encompassing in nature and continue to have a timeless universal appeal.
