| Your Personal Biography |
Mario Borg Sillato is a maltese artist who produce creative and vital works of art.
Since 1976 Mario BorgSillato has been experimenting with a technick which stimulates graffiato with screching on wood surfaces and inlays of oil paint.
These 'engravings' normali selebrate human and animal life,ofen depicted in a chiaroscuro style.
Mario BorgSilato also creates iron -statues art objects ,employing a welding technique,forge systems,sheet metal structuring and grinding.
BorgSillato uses a technique which is is excellent throghout and effective.
One can discern a sence of human solidarity which provides solid ground for the future- Dr Domnic Cutajar,former curator,National Musium of FINE ARTS,MALTA.1980

1980:Paticipation in collective exhibition at the Malta International Trade Fair.
1997: paticipation in collective exhibition at the central library ,Bath U.K.
1999: Participation in collective exhibition at ADENAU ,GEMANY organizd by the Malta sociaty of art Germany.
1999; Particpation in a roaming exhibition in Australia , orgonized by the Malta society OF arts.
2000: SELECTED FROM AMONG 100 COUNTRIES
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WORLD ART COLLECTION.
THE HAGUE, HOLLAND;SELECTED TO BE REPRECENTED ALONG WITH OTHER INTERNATION ARTIST IN 1001 REASONS TO LOVE THE EARTH,PUBLISHED BY BURTON PRODUTIONS [FOLK SSTONE, UK ] AND 2000 FOUNDATION [AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS].
2006: Participated in the Annual National Expo organized by the Malta Sociaty of arts.
2007: participated in the Garibaldi Cerenary Exhibition organized in Malta BY THI ITALIAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE.
