| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
I've been inspired by some of the women who emerged in America during the '60s, having been influenced themselves by de Kooning (Joan Mitchell) and Pollock (Helen Frankenthaler). They each broke away after seeing the the pathways their predecessors had left behind. I've been inspired by the Surrealism of Joan Miro' and Salvador Dali, Max Ernst and Roberto Antonio Sebastian Matta Echaurren. These artists were bold enough to follow their own heart/minds into an art form that spoke to their moment and beyond. |
