Artist Statement:
My goal is to remind people
that humans are just a
microscopic part of the
Universe and to show them that
materialism has become the
main stream of our existence.
Spiritual part of our being is
deteriorating and we lower
ourselves to meaningless and
materialistic world void of
love and respect for ourselves
and nature.

Through my creativity I always
try to remind viewers of the
real purpose of our
relationship with the Universe
and the environment. My art
is a reflection of my feelings
and my views of living in
harmony with the environment.

I have begun my art career 40
years ago. I work with
multimedia techniques and I
always use recycled materials.
It is very important to
preserve and protect nature.
I always had a dream of
starting a fine art museum
which would show artwork
created only from recycled
materials. I hope to
contribute and prolong life on
this beautiful planet. Art is
an indestructible energy and
creation of the subconscious
mind. I hope to inspire
viewers to respect everything
in their environment....

Your Personal Biography Bozena Conroy was born in Poland in 1944. Since early childhood her passion was art. She attended schools with art profiles where she studied sculpture, ceramics and interior design.

In 1976 she developed a new technique in weaving and fabric collage and in doing so, achieved the European title of 'Artist.' Bozena was then invited to participate in solo exhibition in Poland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Japan and the United States.

Since 1978 Bozena has had many exhibitions in France, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Finland, Germany, South Africa and is on permanent display in Europe.

In the United States, Bozena has continued to show her work in Detroit, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Phoenix. In Phoenix she has had exhibitions in Sky Harbor Airport, The Chandler Center for the Arts, The Shemer Art Museum for Youth, Estrella Community College Library, the West Valley Fine Arts Council and numerous galleries.

Although still showing internationally, Bozena has settled in her new studio in Avondale, Arizona to create her latest artwork. Her newest work includes a mix of multi media series of sculpture, art furniture, and paintings using materials 'of the earth,' with unique color layering and textures, thus showing her individual perception of the universe.
