Welcome to Bradley H. Olsenecker's Portfolio. Known for his eclectic combining of media, Mr. Olsen-Ecker’s paintings,
serigraphs of famous film stars, print collections, sculpture and Oriental scrimshaw have drawn attention in New York, Chicago, Texas and Amsterdam.
In his delicately captivating scrimshaw pieces, Oriental and other motifs are intricately etched into rare natural treasures like whale tooth, a surprisingly large chunk of turquoise, an elephant tusk or even an Emu egg.
But as if the awe-inspiring etchings were not enough, Mr. Olsen-Ecker then punctuates each work with precious gemstones using a technique he pioneered.
After numerous one-man (and group) shows, and after being featured in publications like Art Direction Magazine, it’s no wonder that Mr. Olsen-Ecker’s work is seen in so many private collections. What is surprising, though, is that he is happy to accept commissions. ... |
