Painting is my doorway to
reflections in happiness and
the joy of mothers and
daughters and sisters. It
begins with sketches of the
scene I have in mind, and
flows to the lines and
techiques of illustration that
render an outline of the
image.
A glance, a smile, the
beginnings of a giggle; or the
snapshot of a young woman's
eyes behind a whisp of hair.
All these find their way into
these images, which are a
study in whimsical figurative
design.
