B. W. D'Master
I was born in New Mexico in the early 70's.
I like my peace and my solitude.
Being naturally reclusive, you will find very little information on me as being 'Off the grid' is my preference. Even the personal image is not me, and I prefer to keep it that way.
The art and jewelry I make should not be about me, but the work itself. The art that is created is what is important. I am not here to sell myself, I am cheap. But the art is so much more and is where I believe that the admirers attention belongs.
Influenced by my living in the greater southwest, and being influenced by the many art cultures around me, I learned that Art can be an expression of one's self, but more importantly it can help us represent our wants to be in touch with what we have forgotten.
We lose the earth and it's natural wonders for the refined ones that we are presented with every day. We forget that there is still 'perfection' in imperfection, and we look towards the refined items. The perfection.
We also fail to see the wonders of the Man made. There are simple beauties here as well.
I have taken the world around me and placed it in a medium that can help you realize that which is around you every day.
I place that which nature and man has given us, and I place it on you in a way that can represent a balance of these things.
The perfect imperfection, those things natural and man made. All come together in my work.
As I believe that the art will speak for itself, please observe there.
