Welcome to Bruce Zeines's Portfolio. The other night, I had a dream, a most unusual dream. It was more of an allegory than a dream. In this dream I was with my son, at some sort of vacation estate. We were outside, when suddenly a cow appeared. Nothing threatening, just a cow, but curious, like a stray dog. I asked my son not to bother the cow as I know they can kick. Then another cow appeared. Feeling that something odd was going on, I decided to go indoors. But when we got to one of the common rooms, there was a large black bull beginning to take form there. Not an ordinary creature, but somewhat like a large dog-bull creature with many jagged horns shooting out from his massive head—right off the pages of one my drawings. When I turned away in another direction, there was a parade of other surreal creatures emerging from the house, in a floating manner. Very musical. Then a really unexpected thing took place. As the creatures began to exit the building and form a parade, they immediately transformed into people.
