Artist Statement:
Art is an expression of
emotion, of time suspended, of
finding beauty in unexpected
places. My favorite form of
expression is paint on canvas;
however, I have never met a
surface or medium I didn't
like. Creating art is a
solitary business, so in order
to interact with other
artists, I am a member of
several art groups, and I am
currently serving as President
of The TOMS RIVER ARTISTS
CO-OPERATIVE, Exit 81
(TRACx81). ...

Why Did You Become An Artist When do you "become an artist"? I think I was born with linseed in my veins; from my earliest memory, I knew I had to create art. I am creative every day, and I will continue to make art until I physically am unable to hold a brush or a pencil. It is a lifelong learning process, and the more you learn, the more you realize how much there is to learn.
