I once read Mark Rothko said "The progression of a painter's work as it travels in time from point to point, will be toward clarity.. toward the elimination of all obstacles between the painter and the idea.. and the idea and the observer..". This is how I feel about my work, this is what I am looking for in my work
"Mi pintura es estrictamente no figurativa y busco la construcción de un espacio personal. La obra surge a partir de las relaciones que se establecen entre los distintos elementos que se agregan durante su construcción. Es un proceso de reacciones, donde cada elemento se selecciona y agrega frente o junto al otro. La línea estructura y la mancha me sugiere. Trabajo con una amplia variedad de colores intuitivamente, donde un tono se va contraponiendo o acompañando a otro; denso y opaco o diluido y semitransparente"
