More than just a piece of a broken tree, driftwood is the result of the roughness of nature, it's like a story...
Carved by time and natural elements it has a rough and mysterious appearance.
The artist can not do what he wants but has to adapt to the diversity of wood picked up here and there during walks, not knowing what he will find.
Collecting driftwood can be both along the waterside and under a tree at the same time.
From this contrast, the idea was born, to use this wood, giving it a new value and restore it into our daily lives.
From recovered materials, without nails or screws, CARACTERE NATUREL creations are made, upon request, in order to preserve the hardiness of natural materials in an environmentally friendly way. |
