| Your Personal Biography |
Prior to immigrating to Australia in 1984, Cathryn exhibited widely across her native Canada, receiving a Canada Council Grant and several awards for her work. She has also been working in Australia as an Art Director, Illustrator and Teacher in Graphic Design, more recently teaching Full Time in Visual Communication at Insearch which is affiliated with the University of Technology, Sydney.
In June and July 2010, Cathryn was the first artist to attend the MIRA Artist Residency, culminating in a group exhibition at the Palazzo Palmieri in Martignano,Italy.
In February of 2011,Cathryn had a successful solo show entitled "DOGMA" at Gallery Aloft in Sydney Australia.
For July and August of 2011, Cathryn has been invited to be one of the first artists at the Ondarte International Artist Residency in Akumal, Mexico.
