| Your Personal Biography |
I'm currently a freelance illustrator based in Northern NJ. I was born and raised in Long Island NY and "rescued" from NY (as my husband likes to tell me) to New Jersey. Although I miss the ocean on a daily basis, I have come to love the mountains!
I have been drawing and creating for as long as I can remember! A box of new crayons and a fresh pad of paper still make me happy! I have spent the past few years creating illustrations for various types of clients, ranging from children's books to greeting cards and t shirt design. I'm also a retired NYC police officer and spent a few years designing logos, patches and unit designs when I was with the Department. I still do quite a bit of work for local P.D.'s as well as fire departments, but my true love is children's illustrations.
I've had tons of experience in many fields of art. I'm an extremely versatile, ridiculously creative and insanely easy to work with artist. I've always had a natural artistic talent, and although I have had formal art training, I've found experience, trial and error and practice have helped nurture my art. I have also always had the ability to "get it", meaning be able to create exactly what someone is looking for. I'm always looking for new ways to be creative.
"Be good and you will be lonesome, be lonesome and you will be free, live a lie and you'll live to regret it, that's what living is to me" -Mark Twain/J.Buffett |
