inspired by my Mothers, Aunties and Uncles of the Anmatyerre Nation. I am following a long heritage of Anmatyerre Artists. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
Grew up exposed to painting and Aboriginal Culture/ heritage. Been painting since the 1970's As I paint contemporary I am sure that my Irish Heritage is also shine through.
My Father William Arthur Gibson Family originally from Ireland settle in Bombala NSW. |

| Your Personal Biography |
Leti heritage is Anmatyerre and Irish. Her mother Anmatyerre and father Irish. Letty comes from a long line of renowned artists such as her uncle Clifford Possum, Albert Namajira and uncle Teddy Nampijimpa Briscoe, Some of Leti’s talents includes Visual Art, Singer, Songwriter with a number of her songs have airplay on radio one of her songs “the one so true” which was written with Leti son Nathan Scott Singer/ Songwriter/ Guitarist & Didj player. She has also fought twenty years to stop deaths in custody of Aboriginal people, and for justice for her husband Douglas Bruce Scott, who was found hanging in a Darwin prison cell. Leti has addressed the Human Rights Commission of the United Nations at Geneva in Switzerland speaking under the banner of the Native Americans. She also addressed the United Nations Press Club at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, sponsored by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. |
