Artist Statement:
My work is Landscape based with an eye toward the cultural landscape. My work has explored issues of landscape use. Landscape memory and how nature plays out the second law of thermodynamics.
That being said I’m most interested in the way nature responds to the intervention by humans and the tension that manifests itself as a way of balancing these two forces. Being aware that biological organisms tend to order a landscape and nature wants to randomize it.
