Artist Statement:
I express the colors I feel
rather than those I see.
Striking images I see in
passing cavort in my
subconscious mind. Through
free association, emotion, and
metaphor they evolve into
larger-than-life abstractions
of nature and familiar
landscapes I've never seen.
Every work is an opportunity
to stretch the limits of my
media a little farther, to
attempt the untried, to create
the unexpected. When I stop
experimenting I will stop
creating; without a new
challenge what's the point?...
