Biggest Artistic Inspiration
Hi and welcome! Thank you for visiting.
CURRENT EXHIBIT:
Atelier 24 Lexington Gallery
24 N Lexington Avenue
Asheville NC
I'm having an "Open House" at Atelier along with other artists on December 19th from 5 - 8pm.
Come out and visit the gallery and experience the beautiful town of Asheville set in the gorgeous mountains of North Carolina. It's a great artsy place. I love it!
Biggest Artistic Inspiration:
Life is my inspiration. What I see around me and how I interpret that on canvas. My desire to share what I see with others is what inspires me to paint.
Georgia O'Keefe expressed this well..."When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment. I want to give that world to someone else."

Why Did You Become An Artist

Your Personal Biography
My paintings are a creation of something imagined that just flows or an intrepretation of my observations of life around me.
Creating gives me immense satisfaction and joy. That part of my soul that longs to create is satisfied and everything else in life 'clicks'. Life is good. Art brings to life a part of me that wouldn't be seen otherwise. It is the language of my heart and soul...my own colorful dance...an expression of me that hopefully speaks or gives something to yours.
I will take commissions, so send me an email if you have something in mind.
