| Your Personal Biography |
Christopher Clark's greatest influences are Rembrandt, Norman Rockwell and Henry O'Tanner. These renowned artists are his favorites because of their ability to define various moods of the human condition with emotion, clarity and skill. Chris always had an interest in visual arts and began drawing at an early age. He received formal training while living in New York and studied under Robert Schultz and George Pasintino of the Art Students League. Since relocating to Atlanta, Chris has exhibited his work in galleries, a museum and in silent auctions. He has sold print and original art work through retail outlets, home shows and commissioned portraits.
Chris' pieces are usually musical or inspirational in nature, and classical in style. He begins his process by drawing a thumbnail sketch. He then continues by drawing a full-size charcoal image and finally he completes the rendering with oil on canvas. Lately, Chris has been driven to paint natural landscape scenes.
Mr. Clark retired early from his telecommunications career to pursue his passion for art. Currently, he lives in Marietta, Georgia with his family.
