| Your Personal Biography |
Arnold Victor Grace Jr. was born in the beautiful island of Jamaica, where he started drawing and painting from a very early age.
At the age of ten he received a Grumbacher oil painting set from his aunt, and started to study the works of the old masters
from the Renaissance and the Baroque period. During his high school years he won 1st prize for an all-Island road safety poster
design competition.
Arnold attended the Jamaica School of art, where he studied painting, photography and graphic design. He participated in
numerous exhibitions in Jamaica, and was founding member of the Jamaican Artist and Craftmen Guild.
On migrating to the United States, He worked for 20 years in commercial printing, and is now devoting more time to painting, and
organising exhibitions for other artists, to promote cultural events. |
