| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
Making things out of steel that people would not expect to see made out of steel. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I became a metal artist after changing careers and working for a blacksmith artist for a period of time. After seeing the beautiful things people could create with steel, I was hooked and have been working on developing my own style of metal art since then. |

| Your Personal Biography |
I suppose I would consider myself a figurative/representational and conceptual metal artist, creating sculpture, metal and copper wall art, forged steel, silver and copper jewelry.
I am primarily a self taught artist with formal training in welding as a career. I changed careers to be a welder in 2000 and have evolved into more artistic endeavors over the past few years. My husband and I also own a custom metal design/fabrication and coppersmithing business that has been thriving now for six years. The artwork has proven to be a complimentary addition to our metal business. |
