I am a very diverse artist and depending on the mood is to what I paint. With a little bit of ACDC and Bocelli music anything can be painted. The mountains where I live influences me quite a lot. I have won and receive prizes for numerous exhibitions and have work displayed in private collections throught the world....

| Your Personal Biography |
Born in Grafton N.S.W. in 1952, the family move to Papua New Guinea where larian did most of her growing up. In 1973 she moved back to Australia with her own family ready to start a new life. Leading a gypsy life for 15 years larian and second husband and children took up residence in Maleny in 1988, there she decided to fulfill a dream of becoming a artist and painting the memories of her gypsy life and the surrounding countryside. She sketched and painted with vigor in the mediums of watercolor, pastel, charcoal, oil , acrylics and pencil collecting awards for many of her works along the way. Her love of painting just kept growing
In 1991 her pencil sketches were included in diary’s with the Black possum publishing co., for 3 years following, also in 1991 Larian was invited to exhibit paintings in a traveling exhibition called “Portrait Of Australia ‘91”. The paintings went to every major city in Australia for a year.
Larian’s work has been exhibited widely in the local area , Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Adelaide and Port Macquarie. Her work is featured in private homes ALL over the world. In 1983 she completed a watercolor painting of the H.M.A.S. Derwent before the ship was decommissioned. The painting is now hanging in the Maritime museum in Sydney. After winning many 1st,2nd and 3rd prizes in exhibitions entered all around Queensland, Larian then decided to take up oils and hasn’t looked back since. In March 2001 she had a combine exhibition with 2 other artist called “The Three Brushkateers”. She won Champion painting with the Caloundra City Show 1998, runner up champion in 2003. In 2003 won 1st prize (the overall) traditional oil section at Nanango,
In 2004 won 1st prize at Roma’s Easter Art Exhibition (traditional), also Goondiwindi 1st prize traditional section. 2004 also saw her featured in a magazine called “Location Essentials Warana” collectors Edition
In 2005 received a Highly Commended for the Pastellist of the Year awards, and in 2006 won the Monthly incentive award with the Pastel Society of Australia
Larian’s work is diverse in all mediums and represented in galleries and private collections all around the world. In 2006 she was featured in the April and May edition of “The Australian Artist”. In 2007 was selected to exhibit with Moroccan artist Redouane Bernaz
