Artist Statement:
I would like to take the
opportunity to introduce
myself. My name is Chris
Scott and I have over 34 years
experience in art. I’ve been
drawing and painting for as
long as I can remember. I
remember, when I was very
young, watching my oldest
sister bring home oil
paintings she finished at the
class she attended. I was
always so proud of her art.
I began drawing cartoons and
by the age of seven I was
enrolled in oil painting
classes. I continued oil
painting for many years.
Growing up I took many classes
in arts & crafts and when I
reached high school I attended
graphic arts, architectural
and mechanical drawing
classes.
When I was eighteen I was
hired to manage the Printing
Dept. for one of the largest
dental health plans in
California. By the age of
twenty-one I began studying at
Platt College of Graphic
Design. While attending
design school I started
freelancing for a number of
companies in California and
continued to freelance for
many years....
