I continue to explore, as I develop a new style that I call Didactic Symbolism. By all appearances, this may seem to be Wildlife Art,but have a symbolic purpose founded in the Native American tradition of the Dodem (totem) system. For example - Cougar is Courage/Leadership. Eagle takes our Prayer to the Creator, since they are the highest flying of all birds. There is a strong spiritual aspect to my work which I intend to teach/ share with the world. All things are connected and are truly alive - even rocks. All of life resonates and is vital to all that is. |
