| Your Personal Biography |
This is the unlikely story of the resumption of a dream that has been in remission for almost 30 years. Upon moving to Santa Fe, following retirement from a series of non-art related endeavors; I picked up chalk, pencil, and paper, and returned to a full-time pursuit of creating fine-art pieces. Having graduated with a BFA degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1971. I moved with my wife and newborn daughter to the San Francisco Bay area, to pursue a career in painting and sculpture. After several years in that local art world (including a stint turning out paintings for a bank of America interior-decorating firm) my family and I moved to Portland, OR 1977. These were hard times in the fine-arts creative community, and I gradually changed careers in order to contribute to the family income. Divorce came in 1983, precipitating my solo move to Los Angeles. There instead of returning to my artistic instincts, I pursued a successful career in heating and cooling sales for approximately 20 years, Bringing my saga almost up to date. I retired and moved here to New Mexico. For the past two years (2007 and 2008). I have been engaged in turning out, what I consider to be the best work I have ever done. I hope to continue on this road to creative success and abundance. In this media-friendly environment. Most recently I was the subject of a one-man art exhibit at El Farol Tavern on Upper Canyon Road. |
