My artistic background is in
technical design, stained
glass work, and literature,
all of which influence my
painting style, and although
my paintings don't fall into
any particular category, I
simply try to express thoughts
and emotions in visual form.

In a world full of imagery, I
attempt to consider the "could
I live with it" factor, since
a painting is a stable
artifact, and like any of the
objects we surround ourselves
with, it should have
usefulness and beauty.
