Born and raised a Midwest girl with a bit of a wild streak. I just had to explore the US to find a place where I belonged. I found that California fit me best. It's a place where you can reinvent yourself and be whatever you want to be. As an artist, I have found a niche with many extremely talented artists in a state with beauty that could inspire even the most dispassionate.
I spend my days teaching drawing and painting to high school students and evenings and weekends painting whenever I can. Although teaching can be very draining at times, I have found that the process of explaining to students how to make a work of art increases my own knowledge and understanding. My goal is to understand it completely by the time I die! :) |
