Artist Statement:
Debi Oulu is a skillful sculptor in many mediums including clay, bronze, stone, glass and plastics. She is also very adept in video art. Debi brings much humor to her work. Born in 1965, she received her undergraduate degree from UCSD, U.S.A. In 1989 she moved to Israel. After working as a 3D animator, she continued her art studies, first under the tutorage of artist Yehezkel Cohen, and then at the Midrasha Art School in Israel. She is currently working on Public Art projects as well as contemporary pieces and erotic art. "I believe art should evoke emotions from the viewer. When I am able to evoke humor, I feel very satisfied."...
