Artist Statement for Verneda Lights

The art works shown here, and in the "Beauty for ASHES" exhibit (http://www.e-graphx.com), were created exclusively through the use of computer graphics programs. There are no hand drawn or scanned elements present in any of the compositions. The subjects are varied, yet the common theme of harmonic distortion and spiritual dissonance as a consequence of violence and betrayal, is present in every selection. Capturing the beauty of the healing process, through the use of visual metaphors, is the primary objective of my work.
