Artist Statement:
Nature and dreams have always been at the heart of my artwork, and it has been the human experience, that rests below our reality, I have sought to provide a visual voice to within my work.
From early on I became fascinated by dreams and how their visceral symbolism underlay our reality. The imagery of dreams seemed to whisper words of wisdom on navigating our waking reality, and I wanted to understand more of the two worlds which existed simultaneously in our lives.
Nature's landscapes were within my dreams, and my artwork became more focused in exploring the internal domains our souls journey, as they seek understanding to our reality above.
My work has been about bringing a visual voice to those internal landscapes of the heart, to freeze an emotional landscape in time, so we can look and understand more.
My Imagery
Nature in its many forms, from powerful seas and their corrosive nature, to buried elements unearthed, guide my means of expression, as I bring voice to emotional landscapes within my artworks.
The more I came to understand the importance of listening to dreams and exploring their internal landscapes, the more I was compelled to journey alone ...

| Your Personal Biography |
The intertwining of nature and dreams have always been at the heart of my work, and my search has been to explore the internal landscapes our souls travel within and to give a visual voice to those journeys we endure and survive.
It has been about giving vision to what we experience internally as we deal with the reality of our lives. A reality above that can form scars below. I have always tried to seek truth in how reality affects our hearts and how it challenges us. It is an internal reality, that lays beneath our reality, I seek to bring to the fore in my artwork. Emotional landscapes frozen in time so we can understand more.
Nature in its many forms, from the lands to the seas and from the buried earth to the heavenly skies offer clues to life's natural cycles and erosions, and dreamscapes often whisper wisdoms to learn and grow stronger from. Both landscapes, internal and external, are intrinsic to my work and my expression.
Intrinsic also to my work, is my own personal journey through life, it is the well I draw water from. By striving to unveil my own truths, I search to reveal the essential truths, which unite us in our own separate and human journeys through life.
