Artist Statement:
Darrel McPherson MA, has studied art at the Indiana University and the University of Memphis. The artist now resides in San Diego and is known as a traditional California artist.
My technique evolved into translucent use of color in his paintings. I liken my work tonal art that has atmospheric depth and luminous qualities. I paint wherever I wander, capturing the moment and mood. I consider myself a bit of a romantic, something I could never achieve in my earlier more abstract works.
The artist works have been collected worldwide.

| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
I have found Inspiration in the painitngs of the Hudson River School artists and in the everyday life of painted by the impressionist. To me the process of painting is important to get the final results. I strive with great desire to make each a masterpiece and my pain drives me to the next. |
