| Why Did You Become An Artist |
Sketching since I was a child, I found that I was talented in drawing what I saw, capturing the likeness of faces and shapes around me. |

| Your Personal Biography |
After classical training I am a skilled portrait artist in both oils on canvas and watercolor.. To this day this remains my greatest passion and talent. I have the ability to paint what I see. painting each person as if I had known them for years, I can also do this with animals as my subject. Even my landscapes have a realism rarely seen with other painters. I am a native Texan and have had some success in and around the area, participating in many competitions, and gallery showings. My paintings are represented in the collections of corporate and business patrons. My work has also appeared on numerous catalog covers and private patrons have commissioned and collected her paintings over the last twenty years.
I enjoy living in the metropolitan area of Houston Texas. With ny spouse, I have enjoyed hunting and fishing supporting my love of nature. I also has been able to travel across the United States, and Europe broadening my life and art experience. Sometimes I am able to sketch or take photos to take back to my studio for future reference for a painting. MY two sons are grown and married, living close by so that I am able to enjoy my grandchildren, who have been an inspiration and subjects of some of my painting.
