| Your Personal Biography |
Deborah Hally was born in Victoria, and lives and works in country New South Wales. In 2007 she received a Diploma of Fine Arts from Newcastle Art School and will continue her studies at the University of Newcastle in 2009. Hally's background in painting, coupled with her recent move into photomedia has brought a focus on narrative to her work. Winner of the Dungog Art Show in both local and open categories, she was also selected by the Museum of Contemporary Art's, Elizabeth Ann Mcgregor for a Highly Commended in the Maitland Tertiary Art Prize. In 2008 she was part of the “Off the Wall” project at “Art Melbourne”. |
