Artist Statement:
My earliest memory of being interested in art was being given a beginer oil set by my parents and copying the paintings in the craft store art instruction books. I cannot remember a time when I didn't feel the urge to create. Whether it be painting, drawing or sculpting.
I first fell in love with pastels in college while eaning a degree in Visual Communications at Parson School of Design and have continued to use them as my main medium of choice ever since.
The beauty of art (for me) is not in the finished piece as much as it is a never ending process of learning about life and one's self....
